Obituaries

Charles R. Bardeen died in Middlesex, 18 January 1947; buried at Nettle Valley. He was born in Michigan. Survived by a brother Bert Bardeen and a sister Mrs. Edith Orr of Geneva.

Clarence B. Bardeen died in Penn Yan 29 December 1927, age 54; buried in Penn Yan. He was a son of Mrs. Lucy H. Bardeen of Potter. He was survived by two sons, Lewis H. and G. Raymond Bardeen, both of Penn Yan; two brothers, Charles H. Bardeen of Potter and George R. Bardeen of Penn Yan; and a sister, Edith Orr of Penn Yan. Clarence married Minnie Hall Coolbaugh 17 October 1897; they were both of Himrod (town of Milo).

George B. Bardeen of Potter died 10 April 1958, age 78. He was a son of Lucian and Lucy Rhodes Bardeen. Survived by four daughters, grandchildren, etc.

Mrs. Lucy H. Bardeen died in Penn Yan 2 January 1938, age 85; buried at Nettle Valley. Survived by two sons, Charles BardeenĀ  and Albert Bardeen, both of Potter; and a daughter Mrs. Edith Orr of Penn Yan.

Clyde Orr of Penn Yan of Dresden died in 1962, age 61. He married in Penn Yan on 10 October 1922 Bertha Doty of Milo. Survived by his widow, a brother and four sisters.

E. L. Orr died at Blossburg 29 November 1925. He had seven children. He married in Potter 15 August 1900 to Edith A. Bardeen of Potter; he was then of Benton. She died 29 August 1957 at Geneva, age 75, a daughter of Lewis and Lucille Rhodes Bardeen. Survived by two sons and four daughters. She left Penn Yan in 1942.

Ira Orr died in Penn Yan 3 April 1912, age 67; he was born in Steuben Co. He married [second] Rachel Plaisted of Barrington 18 June 1893 in Penn Yan. He was survived by four sons: Frank and Irwin Orr of Watkins, Harold C. Orr of Honeoye Falls, and ERnest L. Orr of Clearfield, Penn.; one daughter; and a sister, Mrs. Mark Dickinson of Addison.

L. R. Doty of Second Milo died 16 November 1932, age 79; buried at Hope Cemetery, Corning. Survived by four daughters and a brother Edward.

Mrs. L. R. Doty of Second Milo died 23 March 1929; she was the former Sarah Jane Stevens of Corning. Survived by her husband and four daughters.
